Ladies, we have all been there, February rolls around and there are hearts and flowers and pink everywhere. You can’t escape it: The glaring signs that you are single. Don’t fret! You don’t have to go out and find someone just so you can have a date on Valentine’s Day. Why settle for a night that you HAVE to have when you can have one of your own choosing? Here are 3 ways that you can celebrate that don’t involve going through your black book:
- Have a Spa Day- Why not focus on yourself for Valentine’s Day? A day of spa treatment will help you re-center and relax. Forget about all that pink and hearts and flowers. Get a massage or get that facial you keep putting off! A mani-pedi spa day can make anyone feel special- at least it always works for me! Spa Days always seem to brighten my mood and make me feel like a million bucks!
- Single Ladies Nite- Why not have all of your single friends over for a girl’s night? Have a bellydance happy hour at your house or a friend’s house. Make Valentine’s Day about having fun, not about whether or not you’re in a relationship. You can have a great time, have some drinks and learn some new dance moves. Included in that are custom Shimmies on the Rocks T-shirts and jingly coin hip scarves – way better Valentine’s gifts that teddy bears and flowers. (Take it from me; the flowers always make me sneeze!)
- Take yourself on a mini vacation- Go out of town or rent a hotel room in town for just the night. Order room service, take a bubble bath, watch bad TV, and enjoy the peace and quiet. Whatever you want! Give yourself the down time you deserve after working so hard all week. Heck, All year!
